Value & Access Sr Associate
Minimum Requirements
Academic education (Master of Science)
2 years experience in a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology company or within government or HTA body or related consultancy, preferred in the therapeutic area of Oncology/Hematology/Cardiology/Immunology
Fluency in oral and written English and in-depth knowledge or fluency in the language of the local country is essential
Experience in communicating complex health economics issues to non-experts
Good project management skills for multiple tasks/projects/priorities and complex issues to propose innovative solutions with potential for further development
Experience in working effectively in cross-functional teams and ability to drive and influence peers in complex (matrix) organization
Experience in local healthcare environment, especially in reimbursement process
Preferred Requirements
Pharmacy, biotechnology, public health or related sciences degree
Strong Oncology/Hematology/Cardiology/Immunology background
Deep knowledge and practical experience with the reimbursement process
Responsibilities:
Coordinating reimbursement processes by managing timely preparation, submission and follow-up of all required pricing and reimbursement files
Actively participate in the development of the market access and pricing strategy (incl. business case) for Amgen products, based on market insights, HTA Agency’s and decision makers’ current practice and business needs.
Map external stakeholders impacted implementability of created market access and pricing strategy
Managing HTA dossier development process to fulfill market access strategy by supervising external HTA vendors, close collaboration with Medical and Marketing Colleagues and Region to smoothly go through governance process
Collect local cost data for the customization of CE and BI models
Constantly monitor and assess Health Care System changes (incl. Changes on Reimbursement list) to identify the potential risks and opportunities for Amgen products
Support reimbursement/pricing negotiations with payers
Provide input for local requirements in the international value dossier & payer plan
Keep EU and global colleagues informed about and seek support on all ongoing submissions
Liaise with EU and global colleagues to create a strong relationship and defend and support the affiliate success
Lead reimbursement renewal process for selected brands
Managing MEA settlements with National Health Fund in cooperation with Distribution team
