Amgen Business Unit Senior Manager (General Medicine) in Warsaw, Poland


•Responsible for all strategic and operational matters relating to the Franchise in the Country (marketing, sales, account management, legal, pricing and contracting)

•Participates in the development of International strategies and tactics through input into the IBT; implements IBT strategies and key Branding directions locally.•Ensures optimal effectiveness of Field Selling team with support from SME Manager•Develops sales goals and budget with CM and executes the COP with his BU• Partners with the Medical Leader in the development and execution of the Medical Affairs and promotional strategies.• Develops business cases to capitalize on growth opportunities outside of budgeted resources•Attracts, develops and retains talents, and ensures effective coaching and performance assessment•Provides leadership (as BU Head, Country Management Committee member and, when applicable, IBT member)•Is personally involved in the management of key national accounts and relationship with key external stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

•Higher academic education (University degree) or experience from similar positions•>10 years of experience in industry•2 to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical selling •2 to 3 years of experience in Marketing Management•Fluency in Polish & English, both oral and written communications•Documented track record of success, incl. product launches•Computer skills (MS Office programs)•Management experience of a relevant-sized team

Preferred Requirements

•>5 years in a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology company•>3 years of experience in an American pharmaceutical company•Expertise in Franchise area (e.g., Cardiology, Bone, Oncology, Nephrology, etc.)•Previous track record as BU manager
