Amgen Senior Associate Medical Operation in Thailand

The Senior Associate Medical Operations will be primarily responsible for complex

administrative support activities, supporting medical and regulatory manager in Thailand

Key Activities:

  • Screen and act on incoming phone calls

  • Coordinate mailings and courier/deliveries

  • Coordinate functional processes such as invoicing and payments including managing/requesting cheque related to TH FDA/government submission/approval fees

  • Manage the administrative aspects of relationships with outside experts and vendors

  • Participate in department project teams

  • Support as co-project manager with medical and regulatory manager

  • Update and maintain all dues, memberships, subscriptions etc.

  • Provide support to team member on C-3 system, SAP and expense reimbursement.

  • Manage individual and team calendars (Outlook)

  • Coordinate local and international meetings : arrange travel, meeting arrangements, visitor accommodations Initiating/facilitating/participating in cross-functional team meetings

  • Organize meeting rooms, including logistics, catering and equipment need

  • Support regulatory dossier preparation (MAA, variation, SMP release) for TH FDA submission

  • Maintain distribution, contact and personnel lists

  • Review and proof reading of packaging component artworks

  • Co-ordinate promotional material package preparation for TH FDA submission

  • Archive regulatory documents and manage document tracking sheet

  • Prepare for company licenses renewal

  • Collaborate with marketing admin for hospital listing/tender documents under supervision of RA

  • Support copying, scanning, and printing as requested

  • Manage/order office supplies for RA team

  • Design, execution and maintenance of reports

  • Provide backup support to additional department

  • Assis with documenting and maintaining department processes as required

Minimum Requirements

Administrative experience in an International environment, preferably in a training role

  • Demonstrated high level of system administration experience, ideally working with a Learning Management System.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Good organizational skills

  • Strong sense of customer service including excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to set priorities and to handle multiple tasks

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non technical audience

  • The incumbent be flexible, take initiative and work independently and in teams

  • Proactive anticipation of needs, communication of expectations, and dissemination and compilation of information

  • Detail orientation and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while organizing and prioritizing workflow

  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost diplomacy and discretion

  • An individual that can take a proactive approach to resolving issues appropriately

  • The incumbent act as a liaison to internal department staff, cross-departmental areas, and external contacts for those individuals

  • The ability to interact with various levels of Amgen management

  • Excellent ability to work with others and positively influence others

  • The ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing and be able to modify communication style as appropriate for varied audiences

  • The incumbent be able to, with minimal direction, anticipate next steps, identify issues/problems and propose solutions

  • A service-oriented approach to all activities, a willingness to learn new approaches and adapt to change, and lead by example in promoting teamwork
