Technical Business Analyst

What you will do
In this vital and technical role you will deliver innovative custom solutions for supporting patient safety and adhering to regulatory requirements from around the world. You will be an active participant in all aspects of services for the Global Patient Safety business function, particularly supporting the global team with technical features and enhancements of the business applications.
Partner with business and technology teams to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements
Have overall accountability of all aspects of implementation of technical solutions or enhancements to the safety business systems
Identify and assess risks and dependencies for custom technical solutions and other system changes
Develop expert domain knowledge in their assigned area
Responsible for supporting and leading technical root cause analysis and works with vendors to resolve PV systems related issues
Understand the internal processes for system validation and change control and ensure timely delivery
Input in project prioritization, represent regional needs in the context of global portfolios and act as a point of escalation for technical issues

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Life Sciences
Experienced in database programming languages, data modelling, concepts, including Oracle SQL skills and PL/SQL
Knowledge of, and experience with, implementing and supporting COTS (Commercial off the shelf) and GxP applications in the pharmaceutical drug safety domain
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Knowledge of .NET and middleware like Mulesoft or Informatica will be a bonus
