STATISTICIAN, Global Biostatistical Sciences
What you will do
In this vital role you will support the design of clinical trials and observational studies, operationalize the analysis and reporting activities ensuring all statistical aspects are of high quality and meet required standards. You will be a member of multiple study teams engaged in clinical research from early phase studies through to payer activities.
Providing statistical insight and contributions to study teams
Providing statistical review and quality control of key-study related documentation such as protocols, randomization specifications, statistical analysis plans and clinical study reports
Completing statistical analysis of individual studies/projects
Working in a team of statisticians, including members from external suppliers
Publishing research in scientific journals and books, presenting on statistical methodology in the biopharmaceutical setting at external scientific meetings
Communicating the role of the Global Biostatistical Sciences department, contributing to statistical training within Global Biostatistical Sciences and within Amgen

You would be joining the Global Biostatistical Sciences team based in the US, UK, Japan and China, the team is part of the Center for Design and Analysis which encompasses experts in Design and Innovation, Biostatistics, and Data Sciences. Master’s degree in Statistics / Biostatistics or related subject with high statistical content
Good communication and organisational skills
