Amgen Sr. Associate Project Mgmt, Label Updates & Patient Advocacy Support in Thousand Oaks, California

We have world-class cross-functional staff across the globe including sales and marketing, regional medical liaisons, oncology nurse specialists and customer account teams to ensure our discoveries go from bench to bedside.

The Sr. Associate Project Manager is an integral member of the Amgen Oncology Cross Franchise Marketing Team, focused on managing oncology & hematology label updates and supporting patient advocacy. Specifically, responsibilities include the following:

Label updates

  • Partner with the brand label change lead and provide overall project management

  • Project manage cross functionally with the brand teams, MPS, MCM and Regulatory to ensure all materials impacted by the label change are updated compliantly and within the required deadlines.

  • Update and route all materials with ISI only updates through MAC

  • Coordinate with all brand team members to ensure impacted materials are updated

  • Budget management of all layout and print POs

  • Facilitate label change meetings with brand teams and cross functional partners as needed

Patient Advocacy Support

  • Liaison with advocacy groups and Compliance to ensure sponsorships and memberships are submitted compliantly and in a timely manner.

  • Supplier Onboarding

  • Compliant and Accurate C3 submissions for field sponsorships

  • Oversight of current/pending requests

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of project management and/or budget management experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 6 years of project management and/or budget management experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of project management and/or budget management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree or equivalent in finance, economics or related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Excellent project management and coordination/collaboration skills

  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team, excellent organizational and communication skills as well as responsiveness to coaching

  • Attention to details and quality

  • Autonomy to work independently with few instructions as well as know when to obtain direction

  • Knowledge of accounting principles

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills

  • Leadership and initiative for process improvement

  • Ability to successfully prioritize a diverse workload to meet deadlines and client expectations
