Senior Project Manager - US Commercialization and Regional Program Management
What you will do

In this vital role you will drive the development and manages the execution of high quality, integrated, cross-functional global and regional (US) medical plans in support of the overall program strategy for assigned programs. You will apply project management best practices in the development, initiation, planning, and execution of global and US medical plans.
The Senior Project Manager – Regional Program Management is responsible for:
Partners with medical leads to develop high quality, integrated, global and US medical plans that are aligned with the overall program strategy
Identifies key deliverables for each function within the medical team and their inter-dependencies
Ensures cross-functional alignment and accountability
Identifies project issues or resource gaps and facilitates resolution
Drives decision making according to Amgen’s decision-making framework (DAI)
Monitors progress on team goals, key deliverables and adherence to timelines
Conducts risk management and scenario planning; drives the development of contingency and/or risk mitigation plans
Documents issues, decisions and action items from global and US medical teams meetings
Escalates key medical issues to GPM or cross-functional sub-team leader
Coordinates activities with external business partners and alliances, where applicable
Coordinates medical Insights collection, integration, communication, and incorporation into program medical strategy
Drives and leads medical teams performance and effectiveness in partnership with the medical team lead
Develops team communication across functions
Leads and/or participates in special department, cross-functional projects
What we expect of you

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Project Management experience
Master’s degree and 4 years of Project Management experience
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Project Management experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of Project Management experience
High School diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management experience
8+ years of industry experience in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or other Healthcare-related field
4+ years of experience in a drug development Project Management role
Experience in leading cross-functional teams
Drug Development knowledge with basic to strong understanding of other functions relevant to the position which may include: Research, Preclinical, Clinical, Medical, Manufacturing, Commercial and Regulatory. Utilization of Project Management tools, methodologies, practices and infrastructure, as related to the Biopharmaceutical Industry
