Sr. Manager Strategic Planning & Operations
The Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Operations is a key member of the U.S. Inflammation Business Unit responsible for driving the strategy and leading a variety of projects, including but not limited to core operations and governance, culture and talent initiatives, developing internal communications, and supporting key strategic projects. This role is an excellent entry point into the U.S. Inflammation Business Unit, as it naturally provides great access to the senior leadership team and strong engagement across the organization. To succeed in this role, candidates should have a demonstrated history of solid project management skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and great critical thinking. The ability to prioritize with a ‘can do’ demeanor and the ability to work collaboratively are important characteristics to this profile.

Project management of core business operations
Drive the strategy and management of the U.S. Inflammation Business Unit talent and culture program including prioritizing, planning, project management, communication, implement, collaborate, and feedback gathering.
Drive the overall communications strategy, plan and develop targeted communications for various audiences including All Staff, senior leadership and other groups; rollout through various platforms; gather team engagement metrics and work to optimize them
Support the Director of Strategic Planning and Operations with key ongoing central initiatives including project management, workshop development and facilitation, deliverables development and other key activities.
Complete ad-hoc tasks and analysis as needed

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Business Strategy, Consulting, or Project Management experience
Master’s degree and 6 years of Business Strategy, Consulting, or Project Management experience
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Business Strategy, Consulting, or Project Management experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Business Strategy, Consulting, or Project Management experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Business Strategy, Consulting, or Project Management experience
2 years of managerial experience directly leading people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
Preferred Qualifications:
A passion for talent development and creating a strong team culture
Excellent project management skills and capacity to handle/lead multiple projects
Outstanding written/oral communication skills; strong proficiency in Microsoft Tools including PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Yammer, Sharepoint
Survey development experience; strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills
Strong social skills, active listening, and relationship management skills
Critical thinking. Ability to collect, digest and assemble information to enable relevant business analyses
Adapts and thrives in a constantly evolving and fast paced environment
