This is a highly collaborative, hands-on scientific/technical leadership role working in an innovative cross-functional matrixed team environment to unlock the power of data. You will weave a network of durable data products for Operations: thoughtfully designed, connected, high-quality, contextualized data assets that collectively power Operations' business destinations. • You are excited to work within an Operations digital innovation unit to build a broad semantic knowledge graph that threads data together across end-to-end business processes and enables the transformation to data-centricity and new ways of working.

  • You thrive in an agile, dynamic environment working directly with other data scientists and solution engineers at the interface of business and technology to quickly iterate on Operations data products that drive value and provide solutions to critical development, manufacturing, and supply chain challenges.

  • You're keen to partner with Operations and Information Systems/Information Technology teams to deliver an enterprise data fabric that powers data discovery, query, search, advanced analytics, and machine learning.

  • You aspire to be a recognized semantic technologies and knowledge graph expert.

  • You enjoy immersing yourself in our business and its people, and in building bridges between data consumers and data producers.

  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to distill complex issues and clearly articulate solutions to diverse audiences.

  • You have dynamic social skills, situational awareness, and the ability to influence, motivate, lead and work in a multidisciplinary setting.

  • You have a superior work ethic and strong motivation to positively impact the lives of patients.

  • Collaborate with our data scientists and subject matter experts to help shape a knowledge graph that represents how the business sees the world and how it leads to value for Operations' business objectives.

  • Deliver pragmatic, value-driving solutions in partnership with data science teams to solve challenging development, manufacturing, and supply chain problems using the power of knowledge graphs

  • Educate and mentor peers on the practical use and differentiating value of Linked Data and F.A.I.R.+ principles

  • Transform and harmonize data across sources into Operations data products that conform to system-independent information models aligned with business data domains.

  • Partner closely with semantic modelers and ontology engineers to understand deeply the meaning of the data and the desired data shape.

  • Partner with source system experts to devise resilient data sourcing and transformation strategies.

  • Partner with data engineers and enterprise Information Systems teams to industrialize production-grade data products and advance common platform capabilities as part of our enterprise data fabric strategy.

  • Develop and publish best practices that define Operations’ data standards for terminology, structure, and conventions.
