Sr Associate Software Engineer
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will work closely with data engineer and product owner/business analyst to understand the requirement. This role will be part of the technical/engineering team, develop data flow pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources in various data format to enterprise data lake, provide data analytics and predictive analysis to business users. We look for people who can work in a team, able to mentor junior engineers, is curious to learn and able to develop data engineering pipelines and develop visualization reports in a fast-moving environment.
Be a key team member assisting in design and development of the data pipeline and visualization reports for Global Data and Analytics team
Develop, maintain and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboard and other BI solutions
Work with business SME and data engineer, understand data, perform data analysis, data validation
Adhere to best practices for coding, testing and designing reusable code/component
Able to explore new tools, technologies that will help to improve ETL platform and reporting/visualization platform
Participate in sprint planning meetings and provide estimations on technical implementation; Collaborate and communicate effectively with the product teams

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Data/Machine Learning Engineering and/or and Software Engineering experience
Associate’s degree and 6 years of Data/Machine Learning Engineering and/or and Software Engineering experience
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Data/Machine Learning Engineering and/or and Software Engineering experience
Hands-on experience with SQL, experience with data modeling for both OLAP and OLTP databases, performance tuning for relational database, NoSQL datastore, and columnar database
Experience with SparkSQL, PySpark, and Apache Spark performance tuning
Experience with data visualization tools, especially Tableau reporting
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to learn quickly and detail oriented
Experience with agile development methodologies such as Sprint and Scrum
Experience with Pharmaceutical industry, commercial operations
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
