Senior Associate Scientist - Biologics
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be a part of a fast-paced, integrated, and interactive Biologics Optimization team developing innovative screening platforms for antibody therapeutics discovery. You will be responsible for generating and communicating quality data to support the progression of large molecule optimization process for Research programs.
In vitro work includes a range of cellular assays and innovative single cell analysis method development, cell culture and mammalian expression techniques
Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, accurate and timely record keeping and data analysis
Designing and conducting cell-based studies for large molecule assessment in a state-of-the-art facility in Thousand Oaks, California

Master’s degree & 3 years of scientific experience or
Bachelor’s degree & 5 years of scientific experience
Masters in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry with three or more years of biotech/pharma industry experience
Comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience with antibody therapeutics discovery, mammalian tissue culture, recombinant protein expression and detection techniques such as ELISA and FACS
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, translating into high quality results
Proactive, enthusiastic, show strong desire to learn new technology and applications
The ability to work independently on research goals and to collaborate on day-to-day experiments with others
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work in a flexible team-oriented environment
