Senior Associate - Commercial Insights Marketing Analytics (Cardiology)


What you will do

The Commercial Insights Senior Associate, Data Analytics will support insights generation activities using secondary data analysis and works closely with other Cross-functional Commercial Data and Analytics team members towards the successful implementation of brand strategy and priorities. This position will support US Cardiology business unit and reports to the Commercial Secondary Insights Lead.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Synthesize and integrate various key pharmaceutical datasets (IQVIA Xponent, LAAD & DDD etc.,) and internal datasets into concrete insights

  • Leverages deep scientific or biopharma understanding to appropriately define relevant business problems and address through data and analytics approaches/projects

  • Ensuring that analyses and summaries of results are shared in the form of compelling stories that deepen customer understanding

  • Stays on the leading edge of data and analytics techniques and capabilities; and leads implementation of new methodologies and best practices

  • Develop and nurture productive relationships with the cross-functional marketing team to appropriately define the business problems/business questions

  • Lead the production and interpretation of data for standard reports (e.g., weekly important metric dashboard, monthly tracking, etc.)

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with best-in-class insights vendors

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree


Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of analytics experience


Associate's degree and 6 years of analytics experience


High school diploma / GED and 8 years of analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Beginner/Intermediate Experience with SQL, Excel, and Tableau
