Amgen is seeking Manager of Project Management at its headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA to join the Center for Observational Research (CfOR) organization. This individual will report to the Sr. Manager of the CfOR Strategic Planning & Operations function.
This role will support the Data Analytic Center (DAC) study requests, budgets, reports and study timelines, and by working with the Amgen Responsible Employees (RAEs) within CfOR to manage, track and analyze key operational data. The Project Manager is responsible to stay informed of best practices and provide innovative, impactful ideas to optimize processes to support the organization's growth strategies.
Responsible for all project management of observational studies ran within our Data Analytics Center (DAC).
Weekly project update meetings, metrics of studies and ensuring studies are completed within our SLAs.
Responsible for quarterly newsletter to Amgen on progress and changes to the Real World Data (RWD) portal and analytic tools.
All training and learning strategies for the RWD portal.
Responsible for Metrics quarterly to Sr. Management.
Collaborate with other partners to foster positive interactions and processes between the center and other key partners (e.g., TA, GBDS, GDO, GRAAS, GHE/iHE)
Master's degree Computer Programming or similar area and 2 years of Project Management experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming or similar area and 4 years of Project Management experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of Project Management experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management experience
Project Management skills including Smartsheet and MS Project.
SharePoint experience including editing and managing the site
Understanding/Knowledge of analytical tools used in RWD including Aetion and Tableau
