Process Development Sr Associate – Large Molecule Release Testing (LMRT)


What you will do

Let’s do this! Let’s change the world! In this vital role in a phase-appropriate GMP setting, you will support lot release and stability study sample testing of early phase Tox and GMP materials in Large Molecule Release Testing (LMRT) labs in a timely and compliant fashion.

Additionally, you will be assisting with critical reagents, lab equipment, and general lab supplies.

  • Expected to complete product lot release and stability sample testing within defined timeline and with high quality results

  • Provide training and technical support to staff

  • Perform potency binding assays, cell-based bioassays, impurity testing such as ELISA’s and PCR assays

  • Generate, analyze, and critical review of analytical data to support product release and stability, investigations, and regulatory submissions

  • Support analytical method transfer and troubleshooting

  • Perform cell culture maintenance, reagents/media/buffer preparation and relevant lab support

  • Support critical reagent inventory, expiry extension and updating critical reagent technical reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA’s)

  • Monitor routine laboratory supply, such as ordering and restocking

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree OR

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of lab based industry experience OR

Associate’s degree and 4 years of lab based industry experience OR

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of lab based industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. Degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry or related technical subject area and 2 years of work related experience

  • B.S in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry or related technical subject area and 4 years of work related experience

  • Demonstrated ability in the biotech industry including but not limited to GxP regulations.

  • Experience in cell culture, cell-based bioassay, immunoassays and QPCR etc.

  • Experience developing, qualifying, and testing analytical methods

  • Excellent documentation skills, including an understanding of GxP requirements

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills and attention to detail

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
