Amgen Marketing Senior Manager, Value and Access - Oncology Biosimilars in Thousand Oaks, California

As a member of the Oncology Biosimilars US Value & Access team, the Senior Manager, Biosimilar & Access Marketing, reports into the Executive Director and is responsible for development and execution of biosimilar market education and access program strategy for multiple oncology biosimilars.

Job Description

  • Support development and execution of Oncology Biosimilars RAV strategy (strategy developed with Executive Director and Brand team)

  • Lead planning and logistics for RAV-sponsored workshops and advisory boards

  • Collaborate with Oncology RAV team and brand team to develop and execute biosimilar patient support strategy including reimbursement support, nursing support and copay support.

  • Create patient support and copay promotional resources for Oncology Sales Team.

  • Create product specific reimbursement resources.

  • Collaborate with brand and training to develop Oncology Sales and Organized Customer Team semester plans, content, and training.

  • Provide input and perform needed primary research, secondary data analysis and compile learnings from other biosimilar launches to assist in access program development, coordination and promotion.

  • Support development and execution biosimilar market education strategy and tactics.

  • Provide training and direction for Oncology Sales and OCT to enable execution of biosimilar market education plan.

  • Lead tool development including agency relationship, MAC submissions and budget management.

  • Work with internal partners to ensure all programs meet Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree and (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 1 year of Marketing experience)

  • Master's degree and (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 2 years of Marketing experience)

  • Bachelor's degree and (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 3 years of Marketing experience)

  • Associate's degree and (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 5 years of Marketing experience)

  • High school diploma / GED and (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 6 years of Marketing experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in health sciences

  • Product launch experience

  • Oncology, biosimilar or generic experience

  • Patient support program experience

  • Successful track record of thriving in a demanding, face-paced, and dynamic work environment

  • Demonstrated self-starter, who takes initiative with ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects with excellent project management skills in a complex, matrixed environment

  • Demonstrated creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex challenges

  • Demonstrated ability to move significant market insights or challenges through to executed solutions

  • Experience leading or being a member of a cross-functional project team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly and effectively present information

  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven

  • Advanced skills with PowerPoint and Excel
