Amgen Marketing Senior Manager, Oncology, Kyprolis in Thousand Oaks, California

Amgen has an opportunity for a Marketing Senior Manager in Oncology to support Kyprolis. This Senior Manager will lead the development of promotional and educational resources for print and digital assets for healthcare providers and appropriate patients. They are an integral part of the US Kyprolis marketing team and will be based at the corporate campus in Thousand Oaks, CA. They will report to the Director of Marketing for Kyprolis.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Manager include:
Working effectively with the sales force, sales leadership, and various cross functional partners to successfully develop and execute marketing programs to multiple myeloma health care professionals (hematologists/oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and etc.)
Responsibility for document control and archiving
Ensuring product compliance with US regulatory requirements
Closely managing & tracking budget & adhering to budgets
Develop and maintain project status reports for the department
Monitor competitive activity and integrate competitive intelligence into brand strategy
Tenaciously drive business and effectively delivers against performance metrics
• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
• Master’s degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
• Associate’s Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Oncology and/or hematology experience
Prior experience working with ad agencies
Demonstrated ability to partner with legal, medical and regulatory review teams, sales and/or sales management experience
Demonstrated success in project management in a matrix environment
Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional teams with diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to effectively produce business results in a dynamic environment
Excellent written, analytical and oral communication skills
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Documented track record of success
Demonstrated ability to analyze a business problem and develop appropriate strategy
Previous supervisory management experience
