Amgen Global Workspace Solutions Senior Associate in Thousand Oaks, California

Amgen is in search of a Senior Associate, to be part of our Global Workplace Solutions team. The Senior Associate will report directly to the Engineering Projects Director, and will work from our corporate headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Global Workspace Solutions (formerly Global Asset Planning) delivers innovative and effective space solutions that enable energized and engaging workplaces in support of Amgen's strategy. The Senior Associate is responsible for planning, design and utilization of office and laboratory spaces globally in support of strategic master plans and real estate strategies. They will partner with GWS Master Planning and Real Estate Strategy to ensure design and scope is in alignment with strategic master plans. In addition, the Senior Associate collaborates closely with site management, clients and facilities & engineering teams to ensure the successful construction and implementation of new office and laboratory spaces.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of office and lab space planning including design, construction, renovation and operations

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Project Management experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of Project Management experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Project Management experience
