cDNA Commercial Insights Senior Manager, Oncology
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will work directly within the Commercial Data & Analytics (cDNA) team at Amgen as an Oncology Commercial Insights Senior Manager.
Synthesize findings from several data sources (e.g. IQVIA) and develop useful insights that drive commercial strategy and tactical execution for products within the oncology portfolio. This role is focused primarily on XGEVA and Nplate
Track business performance by preparing and publishing performance reports and dashboards
Support key financial activities including Quarterly Business Reviews using several data sources including account-level demand data, claims data and electronic medical records data to generate a comprehensive, objective, and detailed understanding of brand business
Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with internal cross-functional partners and external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective insights generation
Deliver special projects on segmentation, network analysis, influence mapping etc., to enable brand growth

Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
Master’s degree and 3 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
Experience leading strategic analytics / forecasting / consulting projects to inform commercial decision-making in oncology
Experience performing data analysis and modeling with physician/patient-level data and sales data specific to biotechnology and pharmaceuticals to drive decision making for sales force and marketing (e.g. IQVIA data)
Experience using common business analytics tools (e.g. MS Office suite, SAS, R, Python or Amazon Redshift) and other business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire)
Experience with prior pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience including in a market research and/or data analytics and/or consultant capacity
Experience managing multiple data vendors and projects
