In this vital role the CDnA - Commercial Analytics Senior Manager will lead insights generation by integrating multitude of secondary data sources and engaging several Commercial Data and Analytics (CD&A) colleagues to develop a comprehensive understanding of brand performance and provide tactical recommendations to drive it. The ability to clearly present/communicate findings and recommendations to Senior Leadership is essential.
Job Responsibilities include:
Develop positive relationships while working cross functionally with marketing, finance, the broader CD&A team, and other partners to develop and communicate assumptions based on secondary data analysis and partner input
Provide senior leadership with an objective and rigorous perspective on secondary data analytics and performance management
Lead the production and interpretation of data for standard reports (e.g., weekly important metric dashboard, monthly tracking, etc.)
With limited supervision, provide analytical support to the cross-functional team supporting general medicine
Prepare, interpret and present analyses on specific business objectives and in preparation for ad hoc “investigative” requests
Ensure applicable legal and regulatory compliance SOPs are understood by and adhered to by yourself, vendors, and product teams
Be a great partner with external vendors and consultants to enable effective and efficient project completion
Demonstrate ownership of relevant general medicine data sets, encouraging confidence in the data through a clear understanding of data collection methods, business rules and caveats
Improve the capabilities of the Commercial Insights team by researching and implementing new analytical tools, methodologies, internal and external best practices, new data sources, etc.
Flexible Commuter role to Thousand Oaks, US Headquarter site. You will work on-site a minimum of 2 days a week.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of analytics experience
Or
Master’s degree and 3 years of analytics experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of analytics experience
Or
Associate’s degree and 10 years of analytics experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
People management experience
Strong ability and hands-on experience to uncover and transform insights to commercial actions, by analyzing, synthesizing, and integrating various secondary data
Well-versed and developing SME in data, analytics, research, and/or dashboarding & reporting approach
Varying Analytics/Consultative Skillsets and Experience spanning across different disciplines and therapeutic areas
Effectively identify & define business problem, and address through data, analytics, and research
Strong analysis and project management skills to turn unstructured business issues into action plans that result in meaningful strategic or tactical recommendations
Experience in managing several leadership partners and deliver on competing priorities
Ability to drive implementation to enhance methodologies and standard processes
Ability to direct and prioritize on team supports and resources to complete priorities in a timely manner
Proficient facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Strong Oral, Written presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts verbally or visually via ppt
Consistently engage and collaborate effectively with cross-functional team to shape brand strategy and understand risks and opportunities

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $140,400 - $171,600.
