Amgen Information Systems Analyst in Tampa, Florida
The Information Systems Analyst will report to the Principal IS Architect and will work out of Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, FL. At Amgen, our mission is simple: to serve patients. The IS Analyst acts as an intermediary between the business and the technical communities working with IS project teams, Audio Visual and Skype Architects and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. The IS Analyst is an active thought partner and application visionary who shapes the technology demand among the business community. The IS Analyst supports the accountable Service Owner diagnosing and triaging complex issues.
Partners with the Service Owner to create and maintain a service to achieve the strategic vision.
Partners with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
Analyzes, documents and tests program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
Partners with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing.
Develops user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures.
Prepares for and ensures that documentation stands up to audits and inspections; provides further documentation as necessary.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeORAssociate's degree and 4 years of Unified Communications experienceORHigh school diploma / GED and 6 years of Unified Communications experience Skills
Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements
Ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products in AV, Legacy Telecom and Skype for Business 2015
Ability to partner with software engineers and quality analysts to identify course of resolutions
Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
In depth understanding of the various software development lifecycles (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Understanding of power shell, Polycom endpoints, SFB2015, AV technologies and Video conferencing solution
Experience managing relationship with Telecom carriers, provisioning and troubleshooting circuits
