What you will do

The Endpoint Management Engineer will play a vital role in the overall delivery of the enterprise device management tools, capabilities, functions, and features for Digital Workplace Solutions. This will include the design, architecture and management of the end user computing platform, deriving and maintaining technology standards based on industry best practices, contributing to the technology roadmap management, and proposing and developing new solutions based on business strategy.

The endpoint engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the computing platform for devices such as SCCM, Intune, 1E Nomad, Shopping, SQL servers. The personal will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the SQL server’s infrastructures for EUT systems such as SCCM, Shopping, Tachyon, Nomad and creating and deploying group policy objects within the environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the SCCM client and Server Infrastructure, Intune, SQL, AD GPO, 1E Tools (Nomad and Shopping) backend infrastructure.

  • Responsible for managing Software Distribution, Software Update distribution, OSD, Client and Server health Monitoring infrastructure.

  • Responsible for Operating System Image creation and Deployment with SCCM and MDT.

  • Responsible for driving Windows Autopilot Initiative with Intune.

  • Well versed with modern management of Windows Devices with SaaS based platform Intune and WS1.

  • Responsible for Managing

SCCM Server and Platform Upgrade

Shopping and Nomad Upgrade on SCCM Server

Image Engineering

Secondary Site and DP/MP Maintenance

Co-Management of devices

Cloud Management Gateway

Cloud Distribution Point

Cloud attached Tenant.

Modern Provisioning of Devices such as Autopilot

Content Pre-Caching

SQL server Installation and Configuration

Managing and 1E Shopping catalog

Creation of Group Policy Objects for endpoints

  • Defining, establishing, and maintaining Short-term and Long-term Strategy and roadmaps for all end user computing platform.

  • Train support staff and provide assistance with technical issues as necessary

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and change control policies

  • Manage response for high priority incidents and outages associated with EUT environment

  • Collaborate on Device Operations team strategy and adapt solution to evolving business requirements

  • Work with client organizations to identify and address business needs

  • Drive ongoing improvement to security, support, performance, policy compliance, and documentation

  • Leading the testing and qualifying of all desktop/laptop software and updates in accordance with all compliancy and audit requirements.

  • Interact with end users and business leaders cross-functionally to ensure that business use cases are well understood and documented

  • Develop strong vendor relationships, leveraging beta and user feedback forums where available, providing technical oversight of device vendors and monitoring their roadmaps

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree


Master’s degree and 3 years of Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience


Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience


Associate degree and 10 years of Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience


High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing global service and technology delivery within enterprises with more than 30,000 devices.

  • Experience with driving technology delivery using various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies - Agile, DevOps, traditional waterfall, iterative etc.

  • Intune or Workspace One experience for Device Management

  • Good understanding of Endpoint Security tools such as SEP, Crowdstrike, Cylance etc.

  • Well versed with Desktop and App Virtualization Technologies (AWS Workspace, AppV etc)

  • Good understanding Microsoft 365 and EMS Suite Products.

  • Working Knowledge of MS Teams, Webex Teams, Skype, Yammer, Box, ODB, SharePoint, Zoom, OneNote, Outlook, Quip,

  • Experience on Active Directory Certificate services, DNS and DHCP Administration.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL methodologies and systems

  • Experience developing roadmaps for technology initiatives
