What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The Amgen Translational Immunology and Safety Sciences group based in South San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Scientist to independently conduct immunological in vitro studies to support the drug safety assessment for Inflammation pipeline projects.
In this vital role the candidate will collaborate closely with scientists within the Translational Safety organization, perform literature-based evaluation and in vitro assays for various projects, and present the work to cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
The candidate should be able to independently drive projects, intellectually contribute to the project development.
Experienced in performing cellular immunological techniques, including multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD and in vitro immune cell assays.
Experience in human 3D culture system is preferred.
The candidate is expected to have basic immunology training and strong cellular immunology and cell culture technical skills.
Candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, be highly motivated, creative, and collaborative.
Track record of independent critical thinking and scientific achievement in the area of immunology is required.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
Or
Master’s degree and 2 years of immunology experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of immunology experience
