Translational ImmunoBiology and Safety Sciences group is seeking a Scientist to independently investigate immune related safety assessment to support Oncology, Inflammation, Neuro-disorders and Cardio-metabolic disorders pipeline development. The Scientist will work in Comparative Biology and Safety Sciences organization, and will collaborate closely with research scientists within the group and with multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Independently initiate and drive projects, intellectually contribute to the project development, as well as, perform cellular immunological techniques, including ELISA, luminex, MSD, multi-color flow cytometry and in vitro immune cell assays.

Work closely with toxicologists and scientists within the group and will collaborate with multiple functional groups from Translational Sciences, Therapeutic Discovery and Medical Sciences.

Utilize basic immunology knowledge and strong cellular immunology and cell culture technical skills.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctoral degree

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of scientific experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD or MD, with postdoctoral training and research experience in the fields of immunology, inflammatory diseases, immune-oncology or molecular biology.

Demonstrated track record of independent critical thinking and scientific achievement in the area of immunology.

Basic immunology knowledge and strong cellular or molecular immunological techniques including multicolor flow cytometry, in vitro immune cell assays and cytokine analysis.

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, highly motivated, creative and collaborative.
