PKDM works in close partnership with disciplines such as protein science, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacology and regulatory to engineer promising clinical therapeutic candidates, conduct preclinical development studies, support clinical evaluation and contribute to IND and NDA filings.
Design and execute biological and/or biophysical experiments to understand the ADME properties of large molecule therapeutics (and non-traditional small molecule therapies) in support of both drug discovery and early development programs.
This is a lab-based role, with an emphasis on assay/technology development for the purposes of defining mechanism of in vivo clearance and/or biodistribution processes.
Requires an understanding of preclinical ADME and bioanalytical techniques and an individual that can work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.
Other responsibilities include data interpretation and communication of results to project team representatives and electronic laboratory notebook keeping of results.
Be responsible for developing and executing department strategy for drug candidate teams as a PKDM project representative.
