What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role an integral member of a dynamic group of scientists and platform experts you will perform clinical biomarker assays employing a variety of platforms to support our drug development efforts.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited
Collaborate with scientists representing multiple therapeutic areas and work closely with groups in other functional areas.
Employ a wide variety of platforms including Immunohistochemistry and multi parametric flow cytometry in our biomarker laboratory to develop and qualify biomarker assays to support various clinical programs.
Choose the appropriate platform, plan and perform laboratory experiments
Document experimental protocols and results, analyze and interpret data
Present results to the stakeholders and working with internal and external partners.
What we expect of you

Master’s degree and 3 · experience in biomarker assay development and qualification.
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of the relevant scientific experience
Knowledge of IHC assays and IHC image analysis software such as HALO is a preferred.
Experience with complex data analysis software for flow cytometry such as FlowJo, FCS Express, SPADE, viSNE and CITRUS is a must.
A strong background in multi-parametric flow cytometry assays including immunophenotyping and immune based functional assays is required for this position.
Previous experience working in a matrixed environment to execute cell-based (flow cytometry and IHC) assay development and validation to support clinical trials.
Project management skills to meet critical timelines associated with various activities necessary to support biomarker assessment of clinical samples
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple studies, strong verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of motivation, creativity and collaborative qualities.
Familiarity with processes and factors needed to evaluate, qualify and manage CROs.
