Amgen R&D Training and Development Manager (Contract) in Singapore, Singapore

Learning & Performance support in JAPAC

  • Work with the GLP-R&D Senior Manager on identifying training needs and coordinating the development of learning solutions

  • Support of Training Need Analysis (following performance consultation (PC))Ideally, candidates have experience in PC, but at a minimum should have experience in the development of training considering adult learning principles & instructional design.Ensures Learning programs are executed on-time per plan

  • Liaises with Global Learning Services to apply appropriate models, methods, and techniques for Learning

  • Works with clients to manage their training curricula and assignments and ensure training materials are integrated with Amgen’s Learning Management System

  • Lead or contribute to training related projects as per the project charter

  • Support learning program logistics and execution, as needed

Preferred Role Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Competencies:

  • BA/BS/BSc or RN

  • Work experience in life sciences or medically related field, including general biopharmaceutical clinical product development (clinical research or clinical operations experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company)

  • 3+ years of experience in Learning & Performance, incl. Learning & Performance consulting development of learning solutions considering adult learning principles and instructional designPrevious training experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company

  • Experience in working in a global / matrix environment

  • Experience in working in a remote team environment

  • Advanced computer skills (Office programs, general applications as Internet, Sharepoint etc)
