Observational Research Associate – Epidemiologist

Job Description:

  • Working with Observational Research Senior Manager to conduct epidemiologic (observational) research to support pipeline and marketed products

  • Contributing to research strategy within the product team and Observational Research TA

  • Supporting to develop study concepts, proposals, protocols and its statistical plan

  • Ensuring the analysis and presentation of biomedical data is accurate and complete and supporting interpretation and communication of medical or epidemiologic data

  • Conducting literature reviews, prepares research reports and management of publication planning

  • Management of project-associated budgets and its logistics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Epidemiology or other subject with observational research content

  • Experience in observational research, real world healthcare data, large-scaled public health data and/or EMR databases

  • Record of publications in observational research or clinical journals

  • Working in team and willing to learn new things

  • Communication skills in English/Korean

  • Enjoys problem-solving with complex stakeholders through cross-functional collaborations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with 2 years of experiences or doctoral degrees in Epidemiology or other subject with high observational research content

  • Experience in pharma industries or CRO partners to ensure operational excellence and efficiency in research activities

  • Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of observation research studies within Pharmaceutical or Public Health setting

  • Experience in research to support drug development process (Pre-clinical, Early Development, and/or Clinical Development) and related research methods

  • Communication of scientific information (written and oral) with medical professionals or health authorities

  • Experience in observational research project planning and management

  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
