We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated & patient-focused individual to join our team in the new role of Sr. Associate, Patient Access to support the delivery of national patient access services across our portfolio product PSPs within the General Medicine, Inflammation and Oncology franchises.
Internal Candidates are required to have a discussion with their current manager regarding intent to apply.
Provide support to the Patient Access Manager to execute defined program services, workflows & initiatives that facilitate access to public/private reimbursement for patients prescribed Amgen medicines.
Collaborate and consult with internal stakeholders, and external vendor partners to support patient access to portfolio commercial and bridging product.
Support the coordination of internal and external vendor in-services and training as required related to reimbursement access programs.
Assess and provide recommendations for reimbursement/access and financial assistance program optimization opportunities.
Maintain high level of portfolio product and disease-state knowledge to support effective decision-making,
BS degree in a scientific/health related discipline
2+ years of pharmaceutical/medical industry experience
Knowledge and understanding of Canadian private/public reimbursement access environment is key
Experience with Patient Support Programs
Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills
Highly detail oriented and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to achieve business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
