- Title: Medical Information Associate or Sr. Associate Location: Mississauga Head Office Term: 12-month Contract Reports to: Senior Manager, Medical Information
We currently have an opening for a Medical Information Associate or Sr. Associate at Amgen Canada. This is a head office based role (currently working remotely).

Responsibilities
Answers and triages incoming inquiries to Amgen Medical Information
Provides medical information responses for routine inquiries with high quality customer service and documents according to internal guidelines
Identifies and reports adverse events and product complaints within one business day
Processes medical information requests (e.g. fulfillment) via email, fax, and postal mail as per internal guidelines
Provides after-hours on call support as needed (e.g., rotationally responds to after-hours calls via dept cell phone)
Supports Medical Information Managers with literature searches
Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures including product knowledge, SOPs, protocols, GCPs, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English / French): proficient language skills (comprehension, speaking, reading and writing) in both languages
Strong organizational skills
MSc, PhD, PharmD
Excellent interpersonal skills
Outstanding computer and keyboarding skills (proficient in Office)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Demonstrated time management skills
Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently as needed
Practical experience in patient care
Experience in Medical or Drug Information
Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process
