Key Responsibilities

As Regional Medical Liaison (RML) you will be responsible for

  • Identifies, develops and maintains collaborative relationships with current and future Opinion leaders, scientific experts, cooperative study groups and study sites

  • Supports sponsored studies on site with scientific presentations/discussions to engage PI and other healthcare professionals (HCPs)

  • Discusses scientific value messages, clinical outcome and patient benefits with Opinion Leaders, hospital pharmacists and local payers in close collaboration with Key Account Managers/access group

  • Implements and follows up on no profit studies and other scientific activities, provides input to the design of local research and new possible opportunities

  • Represent company medical department in the relevant territory, participating to local, regional, national and international congress and providing post-congress summaries and critical insights to internal colleagues in a timely manner

  • Engages with external stakeholders (KOLs, healthcare authorities, patients’ associations, etc.) through appropriate high-level scientific exchange of information, education, publications, evidence generation and other such non-promotional medical affairs activities in a fair and non-promotional manner, developing long-term partnership with medical community for benefit of patients.

  • Ensures that local Medical Affairs activities are compliant with national and local regulations, maintaining high professional standards of conduct, in line with company policies and procedures

  • Works collaboratively and cross-functionally with other internal colleagues to deliver excellent customer experience.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in Medicine, Medical /Pharmaceutical Biotecnology or a similar Healthcare degree

  • Advanced degree (e.g. PhD , MD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training

  • Previous experience in industry or academia is preferable

  • Experience in the role (1-2 years) or in the hematology therapeutic area is preferable

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
