Live - What you will do
Due to an internal secondment, we’re looking for a new member of our Primary Care Bone team. In this role, your core focus will be to maximize sales of Amgen's products across the Melbourne North territory (including Lalor, Mill Park, Eltham and Ivanhoe) and associated country area of Shepparton and Heathcote. Your key customers include General Practitioners and related healthcare professionals. The position reports to the Senior District Sales Manager and is a 12-month contract role.
We’re looking for a team-player focused on developing each account to its fullest potential. You will be joining an established, experienced and innovative team with a clear track record of customer value creation and success. COVID has seen our ways of working evolve to not only face to face interaction with Healthcare professionals, but also connecting virtually. Patient centricity is our driver, so we’re looking for you to think outside the box, be open to different ways of working and be very comfortable with technology.
Collaborate with your manager to develop/implement territory and key account plans
Evaluate progress vs. plan monthly and agree course of action
Report customer activity in CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up to date
Continuously develop and improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs

Field Sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry selling to General Practitioners and healthcare professionals is critical
Tertiary qualifications in science or business and completion of Medicines Australia certification
Account Management/Development mindset - proactive self-management in owning your business and determining results
Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
Valid driver's licence, residency and Work rights in Australia required
