What you will do

In this vital role you will own the engagement model between Amgen's Digital, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) organization and our global business partners in Finance and Human Resources. We seek a technology leader with a passion for innovation and a collaborative working style that partners optimally with business and DTI leaders. Establish an effective engagement model to collaborate with senior leaders in Finance and Human Resources with a focus on geographies in Europe, Asia, and Latin America
Lead and develop a staff of Product Analysts
Interact with business clients, DTI management, and business partners to create technology roadmaps, build business cases, and participate in agile product teams to achieve the roadmaps
Help to mature Agile operating principles through deployment of creative and consistent practices for user story development, robust testing and quality oversight, and focus on user experience
What we expect of you

Experience developing a multiyear technology plan focused on delivering business capabilities in an agile model
Familiar with Finance and Human Resources system architecture, functional design concepts, and internal controls; experience with large enterprise systems such as SAP, Hyperion, and Workday a plus
Understanding of business processes in Human Resources and Corporate Finance organizations
Ability to build compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
Understand business functionality and translate it into user stories
Experience with test plan management and user experience design
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question partners across functions
Sharp learning agility, problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical clients
Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication in English language
