WHAT YOU WILL DO

Accountabilities:

Support the development, maintain, and advance of GSC Enable Commercial global business process capabilities including Jurisdictional Control, Specialized Shipping, Physical Financial Flow, Stock Transfer Movement, and Tolling.

GSC Enable Commercial E2E is the global business capabilities comprised of integrated business processes & digitalization with high degrees of value chain interdependencies across multiple functions, designed to achieve expected business performance outcomes globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow and lead by example the operations strategic framework of Reliability, Efficiency, Agility, and Differentiation​

  • Providing support to GSC Enable Commercial Business Process Owners (BPO), the GSC Enable BPM will be accountable for handling the business process capability framework of controlled documentation, training, mappings, metrics, toolkits, and collaboration networks to strengthen GSC Enable subject matter expertise

  • Maintain strong ties with Global Supply Hubs, Manufacturing sites, Quality, and Regional Supply Chain to align, understand, and balance local and global needs​

  • Find opportunities and assess the impact of technologies, best practices, regulations, and trends for Amgen’s business processes​

  • Showcase a continuous improvement attitude to identify system or process improvements and drive results to the finish line​

  • Identify key collaborators and ensure they are advised, involved, and committed to the strategy and initiatives​

  • Collaborate with functions and sites to achieve the best results for Amgen​

  • Drive network collaboration, sharing, and advancement​

  • Support development of global process blueprint and training, driving standardization for processes in scope

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

Minimum Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years Supply Chain or Operations experience OR

  • Master degree and 4 years Supply Chain or Operations experience OR

  • Bachelor degree and 6 years Supply Chain or Operations experience OR

  • Associate degree and 8 years Supply Chain or Operations experience OR

  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years Supply Chain or Operations experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Fundamental understanding of E2E SC business processes and systems (global/local)

  • Experience with end-to-end commercial product supply chain lifecycle management business processes e.g. VMO, Planning, ROL, SCPM, Partnership or Regional SC, CMO, GD, CX OTC.

  • Experience with information systems supporting Enable Commercial E2E global business capabilities for Jurisdictional Control, Specialized Shipping, Stock Transfer Orders, Tolling, Plan to Ship and/or Lifecycle Management, Physical Financial Flow, Order To Cash

  • Sophisticated capabilities with tools such as MS Visio, Excel, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.

  • Experience in E2E cross-functional business process management & process mappings

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills. Collaborates & communicates well with others.

  • Ability to develop innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis

  • Shown success in Operational Excellence and major change management initiatives

  • Experience in working in a global environment, ability to collaborate closely/communicate effectively at different management levels, with cross-functional teams and different cultures.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce high-quality results

  • Basic project management skills including developing project plans, understanding budget needs, reporting out progress, and escalation of issues.
