Senior Associate HR Processes & Systems

What you will do

HR Connect is connecting staff, managers and local HR to Amgen’s global HR processes, programs, and tools. For all global HR questions, we are the place to go to!

You will be responsible to support and improve the HR service center with business subject matter expert support related to Workday, Service Now and HR processes.

Accountabilities:

  • Act as designated subject matter expert on different processes in Workday and be responsible for maintaining our internal/external HR Knowledge bases

  • Work with HR Tech Team on Workday improvements

  • Act as liaison between HR Connect, HR Knowledge Experts, HR Technology, and local HR to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Ensure Workday data quality through audits

  • Lead/ coordinate/ participate in system and process improvement projects related to Workday, Service Now and HR processes

  • Ensure structured and user-friendly knowledge management, like documentation and other information sharing

Responsibilities:

​Subject Matter Expert

  • As ‘escalation point, provide resolutions to escalated issues on Workday processes like Time & Absence, Reporting and Core HCM processes.

  • Advise and train HR Connect team members on HR processes, improvements, and best practices.

  • Lead subject matter expert groups

HR Systems, Implementations and Enhancements

  • Work closely with HR Connect country reps and subject matter experts to understand business needs

  • Cooperate closely with HR Tech to deploy solutions and maintain alignment with business needs

  • Gather, suggest, participate or lead improvements

  • Follow the collaboration process with HR Tech and align globally on deployment and change management regarding enhancements and break fixes

Data Quality

  • Perform a range of regular Workday audits

  • Support and train the team in performing Workday audits

  • Support and train the team in performing Workday mass-uploads

What we expect of you

​Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent

  • Overall minimum of 4 years professional work experience within a commercial service delivery/customer service environment

  • Project management experience

  • Well-developed computer skills in HRIS

  • Well-developed computer skills in the Microsoft Office 365 environment

  • Experience with standard operating processes and procedures

  • Experience in HCM functions in Workday system and processes

  • Proficiency in English and preferably more language skills

​Preferred Requirements:

  • Multinational company experience in a service center environment

  • Experience in Workday configuration
