Senior Associate - Finance and FP&A German Speaker

You, as our Finance and FP&A - Senior Associate, operationally support the delivery of day to day FP&A activities for their assigned regions. You are responsible for supporting Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Management and reporting tasks.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

  • Support business planning and decision making through financial analysis,

  • Expense planning, management and finance support for selected functions

  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, year-end close activities, prepare journal entries, perform variance analysis

  • Supports long-term planning activities

  • Support ad hoc finance analysis and activities

  • Supports FP&A projects locally and may participate in wider projects

  • Adapt, support and contribute to the growth and CI of the department and ACCP

  • Performs control validations and testing (IICC/Finance Review of Payment).

  • Drives data quality and integrity in the Hyperion, SAP and ANAPLAN and ensures all reporting systems are accurate.

  • Consolidates budgets, latest estimate and actual variance analysis

Minimum Requirements

  • University Degree, preferably in business or a finance related subject

  • 3+ years working in a finance related field ideally Finance Planning and Analysis

  • Fluency in English and German both in written and verbal communication

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in FP&A activities

  • Qualified or part qualified accountant

  • Working knowledge of IS systems (including demonstrated capability of SAP, Hyperion, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Tableau as a plus)

  • Demonstrates a service-minded attitude

  • Clearly explains processes and procedures

  • Fluency in multiple European languages

  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP
