WHAT YOU WILL DO

Global Commercial Execution Lead (GCEL), Biosimilars Business Unit

The Global Marketing Senior Manager, Global Commercial Execution Lead (GCEL), ensures small and medium-sized markets have a structured approach to local brand planning activities by leveraging Large Market programs and materials for launch and campaign execution. The GCEL works closely with the Global Marketing Leads (GMLs) and other cross-functional Global teams to provide strategic execution guidance to non-Large Market country teams on brand plan, filing and launch decisions.

In addition, the GCEL maintains adoption of global strategy, branding, and positioning in non-Large Markets to prevent brand drift, coordinates, prioritizes, and manages requests other affiliates may have of Global and Large Affiliate teams, and facilitates Large Market asset repository development and access by appropriate non-Large Markets.

Key responsibilities of this position:

  • Support small and mid-sized markets in structuring approach to brand planning in line with appropriate Large Market assets and global brand plan framework (e.g., broad usage of existing material, not creating new content).

  • Oversight of non-large market deliverables to ensure consistency with global strategy and comply with tax requirements.

  • Coordinate best practice sharing to connect large market practices and content with similar non-large markets.

  • Assist with management of Launch Readiness Reviews for non-Large Markets.

  • Support affiliate marketing performance management discussions for non-large markets via light-touch coaching (with support from Global performance reporting).

  • Provide non-Large Market input to Integrated Brand Teams and Global Product Teams, on an agenda-driven basis, including presentation of non-Large Market business cases and filing submission planning.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

Proven experience and skills needed:

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree AND 4 years of Pharma/Biotech industry experience in Marketing, Consulting, Market Analytics

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 6 years Pharma/Biotech industry experience in in Marketing, Consulting, Market Analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • EU5 or rest-of-world market experience competing with biosimilar medicines.

  • Therapeutic area experience, e.g., Hem-Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Inflammation

  • Adapts and thrives in a changing environment

  • Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills

  • Able to sift through different data points efficiently to generate insights quickly

  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally

  • Proven team player

  • Understanding of broad, global market dynamics and the cultural awareness and sensitivity to form relationships and work effectively with colleagues around the world
