Finance and FP&A Capability Team Manager

What You Will Do

You, as our ACCP FP&A Manager are responsible for the delivery of day-to-day F&A activities of ACCP organization itself and leading FP&A support for the assigned regions by managing a team of associates/senior associates who are responsible for Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Management and reporting support to their regions.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Supports the Finance and FP&A team in

  • Timely production of monthly forecasts of expense budget in coordination with stakeholders in the countries.

  • Facilitating the business planning and decision making; providing financial analysis,

  • Managing expense budgets, latest estimate, and variance analysis

  • Leads FP&A projects locally and may participate in wider projects

  • Provides decision support to various stakeholders (BU’s, project teams, functions)

  • Responsible for supporting the ACCP continuous improvement agenda

  • Responsible for monitoring ACCP FP&A service levels and satisfaction to ensure that outputs meet the agreed expectations

  • Contributes to a learning environment, supports the team growth and development, and enhances learning methodologies and technical tools where applicable.

  • Manages expense budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis and provides support to evaluate the cost drivers to properly update the business case. (Only for ACCP)

  • Manages the execution of the close process of ACCP and the statutory financial submissions (VAT, CIT, and others) by adhering to monthly deadlines. (Only for ACCP)

  • Reviews accounting entries and accrued reconciliations, including but not limited to the accounts payable, accrued expenses, and lease. (Only for ACCP)

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team leader with process improvement and communication skills. The candidate will be detail-oriented and results focused, and will have a proven record of problem solving and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

  • University Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration

  • 2 + years work in similar managerial position/s in an international environment

  • Knowledge of Portuguese Accounting Standards and Accredited CPA / qualified accountant is a must

  • Experience in accounting, budgeting and planning

  • Excellent user of Office Programs as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, both in written and oral communication

Preferred Requirements

  • Studies specialized in finance (Accounting, Financial planning, and analysis, controlling)

  • Working knowledge of IS systems (Hyperion, Tableau, Anaplan, and Alteryx) would be an assest

  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP

  • Fluency in multiple European languages
