Qualifications

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent related to Supply Chain/Logistics or Pharmaceutical Science

  • 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry

  • Supply chain and warehousing expertise

  • Fluent in English and Polish, both in verbal and written communication

  • Strong analytical skills (incl. MS Excel) and ability to distill insights

  • Independent self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and in teams

  • Result focused and proven ability to deliver results

  • Motivated, persistent, eager to optimize, drive for excellence

  • Strong relational, negotiating and persuasion skills

  • Problem solver with high sense of responsibility

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)

Preferred Requirements

  • Solid understanding of GDP and pharmaceutical regulations and awareness of biopharmaceutical commercial and supply chain trends and developments

  • 3 years relevant working experience with SAP-ERP environment

Responsibilities

Quality Compliance

  • Ensures QA compliance within all aspects of warehouse operations in accordance with EU GDP and Polish GDP.

  • Owns Complaint, Deviation and CAPA records for warehouse operations.

  • Executes root cause analysis and performance analysis and develops action plans to improve or mitigate risk with departments involved

Process

  • Coordinates day to day operations in the Polish Distribution center including receiving, storage ,inventory accuracy, etc. Coordinates all maintenance and facility processes and associated contracts.

  • Coordinates with Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Services and support functions in order to ensure continued execution of the primary PDC processes

  • In peak moments direct involvement in pick & pack operations

  • Gives guidance to outsourced support functions

  • Updates and improves SOPs

  • Owns Working Instructions related to warehouse operations

  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives (5S, performance boards, EH&S etc.)

  • Liaises with different departments in Amgen (including affiliates and corporate) to participate in projects and to achieve results

Management of 3rd party

  • Supports regular performance and business reviews with LSPs on current business, escalations, reporting and improvements

  • Maintains excellent relationship with LSPs on KAM and management level, making sure Amgen’s interests are served to the maximum
