What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will support Inspection and Packaging Operations and will provide technical engineering support on all equipment automation/visual technology optimization strategies, upgrades, replacements, and modifications. Will also ensure that all team operations and activities are maintained in compliance with respect to current corporate policies, industry standards, regulatory and FDA standards. This role supports a NON-STANDARD SHIFT structure operation.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Execute advanced maintenance activities, operate and/or monitor complex equipment with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
Identify, and resolve, all problems related to the packaging process equipment and where possible minimize equipment downtime.
Able to connect and troubleshoot PLC, Vision, Sensors, Pneumatics, and reading schematics.
Assist the team with preventive maintenance program.
Assist during FDA and other regulatory agency inspections.
Ensure that operational log paperwork, daily log files, and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
Provide basic support to start-up of new equipment to ensure it meets all mechanical design specifications.
Assist with the development and execution of validation documents for mechanical equipment.
Support on-call response by maintaining a pager or cell phone while on-call.

The Basic Qualifications are:
Associate Degree and 4 years of automation experience
Beyond that, the preferred qualifications are:
Educational background in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering
Experience working in highly regulated industry or environment
Knowledge in Serialization Process.
Automation technical Knowledge for troubleshooting, investigation and training.
Comprehensive understanding of validation protocol requirements.
Good Communication Skills in both Spanish and English
Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation
