Responsibilities

Be ethical

  • Has deep understanding about all the company policies & SOPs which are related to commercial team

Be an expert of his/her role, products, territory & market

  • Demonstrates an understanding of industry and healthcare trends, of how clinics, hospitals & other health institutions operate

  • Demonstrates an understanding of Amgen Performance 4 selling platform and applies it proficiently in daily sales activities

  • Continuously develops and improves product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs

  • Gathers competitive information with sound knowledge of the competitive landscape and shares it with peers, co-workers and management

  • Engages with peers, co-workers and line manager to learn best practices

Plan, implement & report

  • Collaborates with line manager and marketing to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans regularly

  • Ensure plans & actions are aligned with the company/brand strategies

  • Evaluates progress vs. plan monthly and agrees to course corrections with line manager

  • Reports customer activity in the CRM system and ensures customer profiles are kept up-to-date

  • Operates within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities

Deliver results

  • Achieves individual sales target and deliver stretched achievement to support the team to meet the team target when necessary

  • Delivers KPIs set by manager

Build & maintain external network

  • Identifies & profiles external experts/HCPs, and establishes appropriate network with them

  • Follows through on customer commitments and requests in a timely fashion

  • Works collaboratively with peers, marketing, VA&P, medical, line manager to develop & implement external expert engagement plans

Work collaboratively & support the overall growth of the organization

  • Supports the implementation of marketing activities

  • Shares best practices with peers & co-workers

  • Actively gains customer insights and shares them with peers, co-workers and management

Qualifications

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job

  • Basic knowledge of and experience in both HA and Private sectors

  • Some experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)

  • Fluency in local languages, both in oral and written communication

  • Relevant local legal qualification

  • Clear understanding of the importance of compliance practices

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences

  • Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles

  • Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels

  • Exposure to project management principles

  • Experience in two or more of the following customer groups: Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, Neurologists, Geriatrics, Rheumatologists, Nephrologists
