Amgen Program Manager - Contract Role in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

The role is responsible for:

  • Support driving Regional Brand Team (RBT)s that are focused on executing brand strategy and regional tactics

  • Contribute to the development of high quality, integrated cross functional plans in support of the brand strategy

  • Communicate effectively with regional/country team members, senior leaders, and the broader organization

  • Partners with brand lead to achieve overall team effectiveness, include assessing, evaluating and recommending options for improvement

  • Ensure timely deliverables of regional/local CMZ deliverables such as Launch Readiness Review, Local Product Strategy

  • Leverage well developed interpersonal skills to build & maintain positive working relationships with customers and key stakeholders

  • Ensure that team decisions/recommendations are adequately communicated

Key activities:

  • Partner with Brand Lead to manage Brand Team meetings

  • Provide draft agenda, clear and meaningful summaries, minutes, memos etc. and effective follow-up on action items

  • Utilize Amgen DAI principles of role assignments and effective decision making with disconfirming and confirming input

  • Proactively communicates to the respective team members and team lead the status of outstanding action items and timeline for completion

  • Provide support of the process to develop and articulate a regional cross-functional Brand strategy and tactics in alignment with the Global Brand Strategy

  • Partner with program management colleagues to ensure adequate understanding of global/regional/country challenges

  • Lead application of SCI best practice project management tools

  • Shares best practices across teams in region and across regions to leverage lessons learned

  • Arrange Launch Readiness Review Meeting liaising with a host country

  • Modify, format, update agenda and coordinate pre-reading materials

  • Help host country to prepare meeting minutes and track actions as appropriate

  • Serve as single point of contact for RBT information

  • Maintain document sharing tool site

  • Upload all information/materials to the right area

  • Grant relevant access right appropriately

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a relevant field or a degree in pharmacy

  • Advanced degree preferred (MSc / PhD / MBA) or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training

Experience:

  • In depth industry knowledge/experience in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or other Healthcare related field

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical industry Project Management role, otherwise preferred experience in clinical studies project management capacity or in a medical or scientific advisory role within a large pharmaceutical

  • Experience in communicating with cross-functional teams

  • International collaboration and experience of working with different cultures
