Amgen Marketing Senior Manager in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

The Amgen Marketing and Commercial team is responsible for strategic planning of all products within the hematology franchise. This role is critical to ensure the commercial success of Amgen’s current and future Hematology molecules in JAPAC (Japan and Asia Pacific). These molecules include those in development, beginning as early as Phase II, and extending throughout commercialization across Amgen’s Hematology portfolio. This role will include lifecycle planning and access support for our “in-the-market” products.

Responsibilities :

  • Contributes to JAPAC Brand Plan development for both in-line and future products

  • Develops and executes HQ promotional campaigns (Multichannel marketing programs, Core eDAs, Playbooks and Objection handling, congresses planning and collateral developments, etc.)

  • Promotion Expense management and tracking

  • Monitor brand performance versus KPIs and provide input to management reports.

  • Coordinates and executes regional commercial presence at congresses with a focus on future products

  • Executes and analyses Market Research with BAI

  • Produces the JAPAC brand book(s)

  • Collects competitive information from affiliates and other sources

  • Partners with the Med. Com. Manager in the development and execution of the Medical Affairs and Promotional Program

  • Collects affiliate input in development of core regional promotional material

  • Reviews country Brand items with affiliates

  • Member of the regional brand team for the assigned brands both in-line and future products

  • Collaborates with other Regional Brand Teams on joint projects

  • Recruits and manages external vendors

  • Establishes regular contacts with regional thought leaders

  • Represent the voice of the country brand teams to the Regional Brand Team (RBT), and actively support/contribute and challenge the team to ensure commercial success

  • Contributed to launch prioritization sequence planning of new Hematology products and/or indications within the region

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Solid experience in Oncology or Hematology marketing experience within JAPAC

  • 10+ years of industry experience (marketing, strategic planning, business analysis, business development, finance or related field experience) with at least 4 years of Marketing experience in JAPAC, or a JAPAC country

  • Knowledge of key elements of marketing in Asia countries

  • Ability to develop and persuasively articulate the value story of a product, adapting it to the specific context of different markets

  • Experienced in regional or country functions

  • Ability to work independently, and work under rapid changes and ambiguity

  • Bachelor or advanced degree in business, economics, health policy, or relevant area. MBA is a plus

  • Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in other International languages desirable (ex, Mandarin, Japanese)

Travel

Travel, both within JAPAC and international; estimated at 15% of working time
