Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) is a fast growing region in Amgen. The regional headquarter is based in Hong Kong to lead and drive overall regional growth strategy and plan. Now we are hiring a HR Business Partner for Regional Headquarter, reporting into Head of HR, JAPAC
In this role, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) will provide overall HR partnership to teams in JAPAC Regional Headquarter (RHQ) to enable the client groups to achieve key business objectives and increase the effectiveness of RHQ.
Serve as a trusted advisor to RHQ functional leaders and employees guiding the execution of HR programs, processes, communications, and strategic initiatives, coach and guide clients on HR and business-related issues to effect positive change in the organization
In partnership with HR centers of expertise, oversee MAP, leadership development, talent management, engagement and retention, and ongoing organizational design/ workforce strategy in client organizations as well as identify and attract top external talent to key leadership roles
Support the global delivery of HR initiatives, identifying and managing opportunities in their client group to support the achievement of strategic goals
Stay current on leading talent trends and deliver practical and insightful thought leadership, including the development and personal growth of our people, with the objective of enabling our people to excel
Actively contribute to and collaborate with the global and country HR team
Lead or participate regional HR initiatives:
As a key contact point with Global Staff Relation team, drive and lead key Staff Relation initiatives in the region
Support Regional HR Head to identify the functional capability building needs and action plan as well talent strategy in the region
Bachelor’s degree. Master or higher degree a plus
8+ years of progressively complex/strategic HR experience, including organization effectiveness, staff relations, compensation, staff development and recruitment
Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and develop strategic and practical solutions to tangible business challenges, sound knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations, and business practices related to the field of Human Resources
The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results
Relationship management, coaching and collaboration skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
Ability to interact with and influence all levels of management, and executives
Fluent in local language and in English (both oral and written)
