Amgen Specialist - Equipment Engineering in Dun-Laoghaire-Rathdown, Ireland

The Equipment Engineer reports to the Engineering Senior Manager and is responsible for scoping, prioritization and delivery of key manufacturing strategic projects at ADL. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead planning and execution of key initiatives with cross functional teams at the production floor

  • Support the Patient Supply Strategy in the prioritisation and execution of these activities to maximise plant performance and plant capacity

  • Support the ADL Product Teams portfolio of New Product Introduction and Technology Transfer projects by supply of technical transfer specialists to complete engineering deliverables

  • To deliver operationally ready equipment and changes to the production environment

  • To partner with network peers on network initiatives

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting equipment issues and minimizing unscheduled equipment downtime

  • Continuous improvement programs for equipment reliability and availability

  • Responsible for safe working practices

  • Contribute and assists with Corporate, FDA, IMB Auditors and other regulatory bodies during company audits

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)

Relevant Experience:

  • 8 - 10 years' experience in highly regulated environment: Pharma or biopharma preferred

  • Experience participating in and leading diverse teams

  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with technical and management staff
