Title: Biopharmaceutical Sales Representative

This role is responsible and accountable for achieving defined Prolia sales targets for primary care business, establishing and managing high quality relationships to maximise sales of Amgen's products in territory
Collaborating with the manager the role is responsible for implementing an agreed plan of action in line with marketing strategy. You will also be accountable for developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the product, market and stakeholders and working within agreed budgets
Provides input and agrees to territory annual sales objectives with manager
Collaborates with manager and relevant stakeholders (Medical Affairs/Key Account Manager, etc) to develop, agree and implement territory POA, key account plans and define responsibilities
Evaluates progress vs plan monthly, and agrees to course corrections with manager where necessary
Develops and maintains up-to-date customer/key account/market understanding
Reports customer activity in the Customer relationship management (CRM) system and ensures customer profiles are kept up-to-date
Details products in accordance with Amgen's sales process and agreed marketing strategy
Provides feedback to product/sales management on competitor activity
Ensures all activities are in compliance with IPHA code and Amgen Policies
Operates within the agreed expense budget
Continuously develops and improves product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programmes
Ensures open communication and shares best practices
Field Based: North Leinster

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a selling or sales-related role
Strong track record in customer and relationship management
In-depth knowledge of Irish primary care environment and Irish healthcare system
Knowledge of legal and compliance environment (IPHA code)
Must possess a full driving licence
Graduate in a healthcare or business discipline
Experience of working in osteoporosis field
Knowledge of Biotech industry
Post graduate qualification
