What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this dynamic role you will join the Pivotal Attribute Sciences team based in Amgen Cambridge, Massachusetts site. Responsibilities include:
Work within a collaborative matrix environment to support product and process characterization studies, data analysis and investigations
Analyze late stage protein pharmaceutical products with advanced analytical methods including capillary electrophoresis, chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques to support product and process characterization
Contribute to development, optimization and troubleshooting of analytical methods, participate in qualification, transfer and validation experiments with a focus on separation-based purity methods
Other duties include data analyses, maintenance of electronic notebook records of experimental data, participation in authoring of technical protocols and reports, and presentation of results in internal meetings

Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree & 2 years of directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
MS in Biochemistry, Biophysics or closely related field
Experience in industrial analytical laboratories supporting characterization of protein therapeutics
Experience in analytical methodologies used to characterize protein therapeutics including CE, SEC, IEX, RP and HILIC
Knowledge of data processing and analysis tools in Excel and other statistical software
Hands on experience with method qualifications and transfers
Ability to work in a matrix team environment and collaborate effectively
Ability to independently prioritize, manage and schedule tasks in order to meet deliverables
Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and electronic lab notebook (ELN)
