Our Cardiovascular/Renal Team:
Our team of 5 is busy…we’re always working on a wide variety of projects encompassing core marketing, value & patient access, strategy, and all things operational excellence. We need someone who can hit the ground running, isn’t afraid of making a few mistakes along the way, and is comfortable working across various commercial initiatives.
Junior product lead role overview:
50% of your role will be dedicated to our Renal franchise, and 50% to Cardiovascular. You’ll have full ownership of the strategic and operational plan for our core Renal brand (you’ll own it), and be a core contributor to our recently launched Cardiovascular brand. You’ll work across core marketing, value and patient access, strategy, PSP programs, and in-field execution. There will be plenty of opportunity to develop as a commercial leader, as Amgen believes very much in development and growth.
Drive the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical plan for the Renal franchise, under the guidance of the Cardiovascular/Renal brand lead.
Oversees the Renal budget, tracking planning and spend for all Renal activities
Responsible for maintaining and executing timelines and milestones relevant to our Renal PSP program
Assist in the development and execution of cross-functional strategic planning, including business unit meetings and trainings
Support the brand team throughout the year on research, field training, reporting, analytics, and various other commercial activities
Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activities
Leads on the overall strategy and execution of select national HCP congresses and events for our Cardiovascular franchise
Manage collaborative relationships with key cross-functional partners, including customer development, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, and external vendors
Qualification and required experience:
Proven commercial experience in Pharma (marketing, access, or strategy)
Experience working with cross functional teams
Proven experience and skills needed:
Proven business management/business acumen and communication skills
Strong analytic and strategic skills
Experience across various channels
Ability to lead cross functional teams toward common goal
Ability to appropriately communicate to/influence all levels and departments of organization
Location: Cambridge based (with flexibility for 1-day working from home)
