Supply Chain Manager – Digital Supply Chain (DSC)
The Supply Chain Manager in Digital Supply Chain (DSC) will be responsible for enabling the use, leading issue resolution, sustainment, and enhancements of key Commercial Product and Raw Material Supply Chain system applications. Your primary focus will be RapidResponse as the network planning execution system, as well as supporting enhancement development of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) system Anaplan and the end-to-end visibility application Tableau.
The role serves as a liaison between the supply chain and IS organizations, translating business requirements into technical specifications. You ensure cross system delivery of efficient, agile, integrated business and system processes. Areas of focus for near-term horizon results are continuous improvement on master data accuracy, Inventory Optimization, connected planning, enhancing segmentation system capabilities, automation of manual processes, data and systems integration. Mid to longer term horizon will be driven by Amgen’s strategic efforts.
The DSC role is responsible for managing the intake and resolution of system user requests, leading and performing application updates/enhancements performing business requirements gathering, solution development, testing, implementation and sustainment efforts at a site level as well as driving global network initiatives.
Master’s degree and 2 years of Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management related experience;
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management related experience;
Knowledge of RapidResponse planning capabilities and processes allowing for translation of Supply Chain processes into technical RapidResponse system design;
Experience with information systems supporting Plan-to-Ship and/or Lifecycle management business processes (including Anaplan, SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, PLM, and other Data platforms);
Experience with data diagnostics, discovery, modeling, and visualization (e.g. R, SAS, Minitab, Tableau, Excel);
Understanding of database fundamentals;
Experience with relational databases and ad-hoc queries;
Working knowledge of regulatory and pharmaceutical processes of GMP and pharmaceutical regulations.
