Process Engineer (Final Product Technology)
At Amgen Breda medicines are labelled, assembled, stored and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people with 38 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.
What you will do
The Final Product Technologies (FPT) team has an international scope and is based in Breda. The team supports the development and implementation of technical solutions for our combination product portfolio, including medical devices and prefilled syringes. As a Process Engineer you will be the liaison between the global R&D teams and the labelling and packaging sites in the EU/TMEA region. As part of new product introductions to Amgen Breda, Amgen Dun Laoghaire (Ireland) and/or Contract Manufacturing sites in Europe and the Middle East, you are responsible for the tech transfer process. To ensure flawless introductions of new products, you will work closely together with the regional leads and local engineering teams.

Lead the Tech Transfer programs for new product introductions to the different sites in the region;
Support in the design for manufacturability of all Amgen combination products;
Provide technical support to the site engineering teams for new process equipment and technology. Act as subject matter expert for FPT combination products;
Support the delivery of productivity and general capacity improvements across the Amgen sites by analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing and business process improvements;
Build a network of FPT expertise across the Amgen commercial and clinical operations for product assembly, labelling and packaging.

Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineer or equivalent;
Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment;
Proven track record in Project and Portfolio management;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with the ability to work in virtual global teams;
Able to work independently and willing to travel (20%) to different manufacturing sites in the region;
