MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Looking for a new challenge in which you can combine all of the above? Then don’t look further, this is the right opportunity for you! You will be working closely together with different departments to ensure the equipment availability: maintenance, production, quality and reliability.

Key-responsibilities:

  • Coordinate (un)planned maintenance and technical issues: troubleshoot and advise.

  • Actively participating in execution, set up and improvement of inventory control.

  • Coordinate and support calibration of equipment.

  • Operationally supports maintenance technicians and contractors.

  • Provide (practical / operational) input for general maintenance improvements.

  • Assist Reliability Engineer in setting up budgets and guarding of maintenance budgets .

  • Implement and maintain education / instruction plan for ME department and process owners.

  • Planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities, hereby using resources and budgets in an optimal way. Advice Reliability Engineer on problems.

  • Lead reviews and optimizations of prepared maintenance jobs.

  • Co-lead of development and optimization of maintenance concepts.

  • Document, report and evaluate equipment behavior.

  • Identify repetitive failure modes and lead actions.

  • Technical support for, reviewing, execution and set up of validation documents for new product launches and capital projects.

  • Determination of scope and selection of vendors for (small) technical projects.

  • Assist and evaluate Reliability Engineer in design phase.

  • Execution of project scope of small projects and guarding of tasks.

  • Evaluate handover in cooperation with Reliability Engineer.

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer at Amgen you need several years of experience in maintenance in a regulated manufacturing environment or have experience with maintenance consultancy for such companies. Furthermore:

  • Bachelor degree relevant to the field of maintenance (mechanical, mechatronics, electrical) or equivalent through experience.

  • Typically 3-5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing and maintenance environment.

  • Preferably good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Able to communicate cross functional and bring teams together.

  • Key competencies: Analytical, social, autonomous and relationship builder.
